At Parkside Sharpening we take pride in quality precision ice skate sharpening. We use state of the art Parkside Sharpening automated sharpener which gives you the perfect edge every time. A custom grinding ring is used for each hollow, so whether you get 3/8″ or 1″ or anywhere in between, you can be certain that it will be the consistent every time. Every sharpening is checked with the Edge Checker to make sure edges are even. 

Ice skate sharpening is an art. A lot of variables play into getting the perfect edge every single time. The stone on the machine, the tool that “dresses” the stone to give you the desired hollow on the blade, the alignment of the skate to the wheel and last but not least the operator must move the skate across the wheel at an even steady pace and pressure. Get one of these variables slightly wrong and your edges are off, and if your edges are off your game is off!
